Maksim is a graduate of the Law School of Saint-Petersburg State University. Within the studying Maksim specialized in civil and commercial law. He started his professional career as a lawyer for large commercial and industrial enterprises and investment companies, and then he took up the position of a lawyer in the largest CIS law firm.

Maksim has extensive experience in representation of clients’ interests in the field of construction and investment, including in relation to creation, acquisition, use and sale of real estate, development, approval of necessary town-planning and permissive documentation and preparation of plots for development, due diligence, representation of clients’ interests in relations with state bodies, as well as in courts. He also advises clients in connection with resolution of other numerous property and legal issues arising in construction process.

As a part of Kachkin and Partners’ team Maksim participates in support of residential, commercial and public business projects, support for conservation of cultural heritage objects, as well as in the interests of such firms as the construction companies Seven Suns, Glorax Development, Navis Development Group, the group of companies BTK, a number of mining companies of the region, he repeatedly represented the interests of developers in disputes over construction, urban development.
