Alexander graduated from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia with a degree in Enterprise Automation and Management, and then from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration with a degree in Financial Management.

Prior to joining Kachkin & Partners, Alexander gained significant experience structuring, modeling, and managing investment projects, both at the incubation and implementation stages, at such companies as CBA Consulting, Moscow Metro, PAO Il, First Quantum and Infracap.

At Kachkin & Partners Alexander specializes in financial due diligence of public-private partnership investment projects, including financial modeling (both working with existing financial models and developing models from scratch), preparing payment mechanisms, refinancing, penalty and fine systems, and analyzing and selecting optimal accounting policies and tax regimes.

Alexander has participated in a number of major projects in transportation, medicine, housing and utilities, and municipal solid waste management for the company’s key clients.

Alexander is also a certified translator from Russian to English in his professional field (automated systems, finance), as evidenced by his ESOL Cambridge ICFE (International Certificate in Financial English).
