Denis Kachkin joined the experts of Public Duma
Russian Lawyers Association in cooperation with partners started the «Public Duma» project aimed at legal society creation for carrying out independent expertise of the draft laws considered by the deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and draft laws elaboration for improvement of the Russian legislation.
Project participants are able to vote on the State Duma draft laws, offer amendments to them, and submit their own draft laws for discussion that will be directed to relevant State Duma Committees if approved minding the authorship. Public Duma staff contributes to the experts’ attending the State Duma events and participating in other discussions of legislative initiatives.
Due to strict requirements to candidates only highly skilled lawyers and specialists from other fields recommended by them are allowed to enter Public Duma. The organization’s work is based on the principles of democracy and absolute clarity of decisions taken by roll-call vote that exclude any chance of controllable expert assessment and votes counting falsification.
Today Public Duma is supported by the State Duma deputies, higher educational institutions, and major professional associations such as Russian Lawyers Association, Young Russian Businessmen Association, Russian Corporate Lawyers Association, Russian Management Community, etc.
Since October 31st, 2013 Denis Kachkin, the Managing Partner of Kachkin & Partners, has become one of the Public Duma experts.
