Kachkin and Partners has traditionally participated in the international Minsk Legal Forum
Second year in a row during three days a major event for the representatives of the legal profession from the CIS countries and the near abroad is carried out in Minsk — Minsk Legal Forum which represents an effective platform for dialogue, views and experience exchange and business contacts establishment between lawyers. Kachkin & Partners has again participated in this professional event.
The key idea of the Forum’s official agenda this time has been to ‘live through’ a lawyer’s life – from the beginning of his / her legal career till dropping out of the profession. Experts have discussed the start-ups’ organization challenges on the legal market; have reviewed the issues of rebranding and law firms’ naming; have presented the most striking cases related to peculiarities of lawyers’ work on the post-Soviet territory; and have shared new business models and useful products able to facilitate the lawyers’ daily work. During the discussions strategies of law firms’ interaction have been marked, regardless of size, geography and specialization of activities. Besides interesting stories of people who have left jurisprudence and have become successful in another area have been told.
Kirill Saskov, Partner, Head of Corporate and Dispute Resolution Practice at Kachkin & Partners, has performed as a moderator of the session called «High Sun», during which colleagues have discussed lifestyles of modern successful lawyers; what mistakes they are making and how they are coping with them; what kind of professional diseases risk to acquire those who are determined to succeed in the legal business.
Minsk Legal Forum has brought together over 200 representatives of the leading law firms and attorney formations from the European and Asian countries. Besides the Forum guests have been offered an opportunity to participate in a rich cultural program.
