Kirill Saskov performed at the annual forum “Legal results of 2014: laws and business” of the publishing house “Kommersant”
The publishing house “Kommersant” in St. Petersburg for the sixth time held a traditional event in the sphere of law and jurisprudence where experts has summed up the results of the legislative activity, had shared the prognosis regarding the changes of the coming year and their impact on business. This year Presidential library named after Boris Yeltsin was chosen as the place for organizing the event. Kirill Saskov, Partner, Head of Corporate and Dispute Resolution Practice at Kachkin & Partners, also became the forum’s speaker. The event turned into the ground for effective communication of more than 150 professionals of the leading consulting firms, heads and corporate lawyers of the largest Russian and international industrial factories, retail chains, investment companies of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, representatives of public authorities, social organizations and associations.
Such important for the legal sphere issues as development of the Russian judicial system, dialogue formation between the state and business in the context of international sanctions, massive reforms of the Russian legislation coming in 2015, topical legal problems and trends in defense of IP rights were included in the forum programme for discussion.
At the plenary session Kirill Saskov expressed his point of view regarding the public authorities’ actions on the implementation of policy aimed at deoffshoreisation and also named and commented on the key statements and innovations of amendments adopted in the Russian Tax Code.
