Olga Duchenko spoke on the difference between using mechanisms of borrowed labour, replacement and internal movement of employees at the conference «Temporary personnel: ban on the borrowed labour in Russia»
World Trade Centre in St. Petersburg and exhibition association «RESTEC» held a conference devoted to the ban of the borrowed labour application in Russia.
The participants of the event that consisted of a plenary session and two panel discussions managed to talk on the key statements of the new law banning the borrowed labour and current legal and regulatory framework of labour relations in terms of its adoption. They also reviewed the examples of international practice of outstaffing and problematic aspects of labour protection of temporary personnel in Russia.
Olga Duchenko, Corporate and Dispute Resolution Associate at Kachkin & Partners, shared the peculiarities of replacement and internal movement of employees with the audience, explained the difference between applying these mechanisms and using borrowed labour. Olga also took active part in discussing the prepared draft law on the seconded staff, expressed her opinion concerning its goals, tasks and results.
