Complex legal support of a cold store building purchase for the purpose of expanding our client’s business
Kachkin & Partners provided legal support to the client during negotiations on the deal, and elaborated the list of special requirements to the property in question which had to be secured by the seller. The service rendered also included working out the payments pattern which allowed interconnecting the settlements with the fulfillment of special requirements abovementioned. Deal value: Euro 10 m.
The project was quite complicated due to the necessity to verify the legality of the original property sale which was done during the bankruptcy procedure. An additional difficulty was related to the need to include the complex technological equipment assembled at the object and not duly accepted by the seller from the original company-bankrupt in the property being transferred.
