Legal support of buyout of a production complex in Arkhangelsk region
«Kachkin & Partners» supported the implementation of «Bionet» OJSC project on creating the plant producing high quality biological fuel (industrial pellets). The output amounts to 150 thousand tons of pellets per year, and investment volume has exceeded 40 mln euro. Approximately 150 new employment opportunities will be provided by this project. The plant has been put into operation in 2015.
Under the project implementation «Kachkin & Partners» was instructed to carry out complex legal support of the buyout of a property complex located at the territory of a former hydrolysis plant. The assignment also included property rights and documentation due diligence, contracts preparation, coordination and execution and general control of the buyout and the client’s property registration. The firm’s lawyers also developed recommendations on the revealed legal and property, financial, tax risks elimination or minimization and provided the transaction’s structuring according to the purposes and limits stated by the client. Since the project implies new construction, the firm’s services have included legal advice on town-planning issues and issues of acquiring the necessary documents from state authorities.
