Legal support for the Belaya Dacha Outlet construction project in the Moscow Region
The project was financed by Hines, an international developer company headquartered in the United States. Of note is the complexity of the project due to the necessary compliance with the contractual terms of AIA (American Institute of Architects), which, while standard in American practice, are rare in Russian contractual constructions. Our involvement included protecting the interests of the contractor (STEP) by advising them on the proper compliance with the numerous formal procedures under the contractual terms, participating in negotiations, and finally, advising client on strategies for implementing the contract.
Kachkin & Partners also represented STEP in court proceedings and mediation settlement, which we managed to turn beneficial to our client.
