Court representation of Tebodin, an international engineering company in a contract fulfilment dispute
Our client, Tebodin Eastern Europe B.V. was contracted to design the project engineering documentation for a cutting edge wire factory in one of the Special Economic Zones. The contract amount totalled RUB 34 m.
The draft design delivery was delayed due to the fact that the customer had failed to submit the initial information on time. Claiming the insufficient quality of the draft design, as well as the delivery delay, the customer denied paying the part of the contract fee. Kachkin & Partners trial lawyers persuaded the jury that the contractor provided documentation of due quality, and the delay occurred as a result of the customer actions. The case was resolved in favour of our client in all three instances.
