Denis Kachkin participated in the panel discussion “Development in the Leningrad region: general to specific”
As part of the Exhibitional forum «Development and construction in the Leningrad region» a panel discussion devoted to the issues of strategic development in the sphere of construction and real estate in the region was held.
The Russian Guild of Managers and Developers and PROEstate Events invited heads of field-oriented committees and authorities, managing directors of the leading development and construction companies, representatives of consulting firms for conducting a competent dialog and discussing key problems of the industry.
During the discussion participants touched upon regional urban design standards, opportunities of load reduction and instruments of investments invitation into infrastructure, disputes on height restrictions, and projects of complex territories development. Experts also summed the first results up and outlined the ways of further region development strategy implementation; reviewed the urban aspects of creating St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region agglomeration; assessed the means of effective industrial parks’ positioning for possible investors, mechanisms of transport and transit potential realization, and needs and perspectives of regional retail, industrial real estate and hotel markets.
Denis Kachkin, the Managing Partner of Kachkin & Partners, performed with a speech devoted to new instruments of inviting investments into infrastructure: life cycle contracts and renewed concession model as the most perspective PPP models.
