Dmitry Nekrestyanov conducted the educational seminar “Substantial amendments to the Land Code of the Russian Federation: tendencies and expectations” for development, construction and investment companies of St. Petersburg
Kachkin & Partners, Attorneys at Law and the editorial of the «Real Estate and Construction in St. Petersburg» newspaper organized the educational seminar «Substantial amendments to the Land Code of the Russian Federation: tendencies and expectations».
The event was meant for heads and specialists of legal departments of development, construction and investment companies and aimed at educating the participants and preparing the market professionals for the changing rules of commerce in land.
Dmitry Nekrestyanov, Partner, Head of Real Estate and Investments at Kachkin & Partners, performed as the seminar’s host.
Practical aspects of changes regarding commerce in land that will come into force on March 1st, 2015 as well as the actions recommended to carry out within preparing for these changes were reviewed at the seminar.
The following issues were thoroughly touched upon during the event’s program:
• land plots formation;
• land plots lease and ownership: purpose land plots allocation and auction. New opportunities for business;
• new requirements for the land plots allocation procedure;
• substantial terms of lease agreement and time limits;
• land plots under objects of incompleted construction: new rules and restrictions;
• land plots servitude registration;
• cases of land plots allocation without making lease agreements or servitude.
At the end of the seminar all the participants had a chance to ask questions and get useful recommendations from the speaker.
