St. Petersburg Property Fund, Russian Guild of Managers and Developers and «Real Estate and Construction in St. Petersburg» newspaper held the discussion «Ban removal on the buyout of rented premises located along the main roads of St. Petersburg – new opportunities, theory and practice».
According to the new edition of the federal law N159 «On the target privatization of non-housing stock» beginning from December 27, 2013 the ban on the buyout of substantial part of premises rented by the representatives of small and medium enterprise will be removed. It has previously been applied to the redeemable premises from the list of state and municipal property that now includes 2800 objects located both in the historical centre of St. Petersburg and along the main city roads in remote areas.
Possible consequences of the legislative changes for business, the buyout mechanism and mistakes during the process, evaluation details were discussed at the event. Current court practice was analyzed as well.
