Kachkin & Partners successfully defended the permit for an apartment building construction in the historical center of St. Petersburg
In the framework of representing the interests of a principal – a developer that was realizing a project for a residential complex construction in the historical center of St. Petersburg — Kachkin & Partners lawyers successfully implemented a comprehensive protection strategy against several interrelated claims to challenge the building permit and related documentation.
Litigation on four parallel processes took more than a year in total and ended in all disputes in favor of the principal.
Taking into account the fact that not only construction work had been carried out under the controversial construction permit, but also construction shareholders (more than 150) had been involved, the implementation of developed judicial strategy was complicated by the need to protect the principal’s interests from possible panic of construction shareholders in connection with challenging the building permit.
