Kachkin & Partners successfully represented its client’s, construction company, interests at court in a dispute on the residential complex «Bolshoi Drama Theatre House» demolition with a total living area of 29 th sq m
Kachkin & Partners team represented the interests of a major development company at court according to the investment contract between our client and The Federal Agency for State Property Management (Rosimushchestvo).
The complexity of this process consisted of the fact that Rosimushchestvo insisted on the demolition of three 24-storeyed houses with a total living area of 29 th sq m constructed in St. Petersburg by our client. The citizens already lived there.
The lawyers of Kachkin & Partners provided legal support to the developer which built these houses at its own expense and demanded observance of rights and contract parameters which the state authorities tried to reconsider after the actual completion of construction.
Altogether the project implementation took more than 7 months, and in July of 2014 the Arbitration court of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region rejected the suit of Rosimushchestvo for the demolition of the residential complex. Thus, thanks to the professional actions of Kachkin & Partners experts the court decided in favor of the client.
