Official presentation of «Developer’s legal guide» prepared by team of Kachkin & Partners’ lawyers has been held
Kachkin & Partners together with the Russian Guild of Managers and Developers and the newspaper “Real Estate and Construction in St. Petersburg” held a «Business breakfast with lawyer» devoted to the publication of «Developer’s legal guide» — a practical handbook on legal aspects of property creation. Dmitry Sinochkin, the editor-in-chief of «Real Estate and Construction in St. Petersburg», was hosting the event.
Dmitry Nekrestyanov, Partner, Head of Real Estate and Investments Practice of Kachkin & Partners, the ideological inspirer and leader of the guide’s authors — not only spoke in detail about the content, purpose of the book and the process of its creation, but also shared information with the audience about what is needed to be analyzed when purchasing building plots, which methods to use in order to avoid unpleasant surprise of hidden encumbrances, how to obtain data at the stage of plot search for preliminary calculation of the economic feasibility of its acquisition, and much more.
Top managers of the leading development companies, architectural firms, financial institutions, specialized non-profit and consulting firms attended the event. Each member of «Business breakfast with lawyer» was presented with a copy of «Developer’s legal guide».

«Developer’s legal guide» is a practical handbook to the legal aspects of property creation. The guide details the procedures prescribed for preparation and approval of documentation at each stage of the project — from town-planning analysis of a land plot to land and building title registration. Features of hotel-type objects creation are considered in the guide as well as work on adaptation of cultural heritage objects for modern use. In each section possible practical situations are analysed; also court practice on the relevant matter is presented.
