Kirill Saskov will participate in the seminar “Legal reforms in Russia – What is the impact on Russian disputes being arbitrated in London?” held by Stephenson Harwood law firm in London
Russian and CIS Arbitration Network in cooperation with Stephenson Harwood law firm hold a seminar devoted to the Russian legislation reforms that tend to attract «domestic affairs» back to local courts.
The purpose of the event is to define whether parties will now be more likely to adopt newly liberalized law and jurisdiction clauses in their agreements, or if the lack of confidence in the Russian judicial system will continue to anchor Russian disputes to London’s shores.
At the seminar it also is supposed to discuss the Russian road-map reforms, the whole necessity of legislative changes, the reasons for the preference of foreign adjudication and the possible alternatives, and the expected implications of the legal reforming in Russia.
Kirill Saskov, Partner, Head of Corporate and Dispute Resolution Practice at Kachkin & Partners, will take part in the panel discussion along with the experts of the leading British and international consulting companies and the representatives of the court instances of London.
