Defending the owner of a large warehouse against the property management company
Kachkin & Partners provided the owner of the largest A-class fridge warehouse of 32 500 sq.m., with a comprehensive support in a sophisticated and challenging dispute against the warehouse property management company.
Our client decided to terminate the contract following the lack of performance of the contractor and suspected illegal actions taken by them. The agreement presumed heavy penalties for a party breaching groundless (EUR 6 m), and the opposite party claimed to collect the fine.
Thanks to our lawyers’ efforts, the contract was terminated by the court on the grounds of misconduct of the contractor. Our client was not therefore obliged to pay the fine, and the malevolent contractor was dismissed. Not only the debt was judged to our client, but also the costs for representation were collected.
