Defending the non-commercial legal research institution against a customer
The client of Kachkin & Partners is a non-commercial organisation with main activities in the research of legal theory and practice. The Institute carried out a research under the World Bank project and by order of the Constitution Court of Russian Federation. The contract was concluded via an intermediary, who denied paying the due amount in full claiming the insufficient work quality.
Kachkin & Partners Dispute Resolution team had filed a claim to the commercial court and had simultaneously started out-of-court negotiations finally led to a dispute settlement in favour of our client.
We managed not only to collect the debt in full amount, but also the legal services cost and the fine stated in the contract.
