Kachkin & Partners drafted a legal memorandum on the issue of the proper formalization of the client’s intellectual property rights to the software developed by a foreign copyright holder within the territory of the Russian Federation, including with respect to the formalization of the operations involved in the acquisition, under the respective sale-purchase agreement, of imported equipment and software from the seller, a corporate resident of the U.S., including an assessment of the associated tax risks.
