Denis Kachkin held a session on pitfalls of PPP projects in the emerging markets within Europe-Caucasus-Asia Forum
From September 5th till September 7th 2018 Europe-Caucasus-Asia Forum was held in Almaty, organized by the International Bar Association European Regional Forum. Managing Partner, Head of Infrastructure and PPP Practice Denis Kachkin participated in the event; he moderated the session dedicated to pitfalls of PPP projects in the emerging markets.
Experts — managing partners, practice leaders, in-house lawyers working or interested in countries of the European, Caucasian and Asian regions — discussed the importance and necessity of a strong legal team in promoting innovative investment methods suitable for both public and private side of a PPP project. During the discussion key advantages and pitfalls in creating effective environment for private-public partnership implementation were analyzed particularly.
