Denis Kachkin moderated the plenary session «Practical aspects of water tourism development» at VI International forum “Sea tourism 2014”
The VI International Forum «Sea Tourism» took place for the sixth time already in St. Petersburg. This ambitious event was supported by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the «United Russia» party and it was opened by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maksim Sokolov, the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky and the interim Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko.
The Managing Partner of Kachkin & Partners Denis Kachkin suggested his own speech to the forum’s participants. It was devoted to the legal aspects of PPP projects implementation in the sphere of water tourism. He also moderated the plenary session on the peculiarities of water tourism industry development in practice.
At the forum representatives of federal and regional competent authorities and public institutes reviewed the legal and regulatory framework of the sphere of water tourism. Market participants analyzed its current state, forecasted the perspectives and discussed the issues of formation, support and inter-regional cooperation in river, yacht tourism and sea cruises. They also paid attention to promotion of these kinds of tourism in the Internet.
