Denis Kachkin participated in the round table “Problems of construction and operation of sport objects in the Leningrad region”
The round table meeting devoted to the issues of construction and operation of sport objects in the Leningrad region was held on the initiative of «Construction Weekly. Leningrad region» newspaper and with the support and assistance of Committee for Physical Education, Sport and Tourism of the Leningrad region and Construction Committee of the Leningrad region.
Representatives of governmental bodies of different levels, developers and investors, system integrators, consultants discussed the overall condition of sport objects and the extent to which the region is supplied with them, the participation of private business in construction of such objects and the maintenance of their profitability during a long period of time, the financial aid and the role of regional government in the development of sports, the problems of nonspecialization of this direction for development companies, and etc.
Denis Kachkin, the Managing Partner of Kachkin & Partners, shared his opinion regarding the legal base sufficiency for the effective development of sport infrastructure in the Leningrad region and the opportunity of applying the PPP mechanisms in this sphere.
