Denis Kachkin performed at the conference «Transport infrastructure of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region»
World Trade Center in St. Petersburg and the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization «Directorate for transport system development in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region» held a conference on transport infrastructure in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. Denis Kachkin, the Managing Partner of Kachkin & Partners, was one of the speakers of the PPP section in road and infrastructure construction.
The event itself became a working platform for discussing the most important aspects of the regional transport sector development and brought together the representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Government of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, professional associations and leading companies.
As part of the panel discussions and conference working sessions, experts discussed the perspectives of the transport links development until 2020, the development of urban conglomerates and integrated urban development, innovations in public transport and the ways to improve its structure and intelligent approach to traffic management, as well as other important issues related to the road transport sector.
In his report Denis Kachkin outlined transport concessions as a driver for PPP development in economy.
