Denis Kachkin performed at the seminar “Concept elaboration of the PPP in health care development in St. Petersburg”
A seminar devoted to the elaboration of concept of the PPP in health care development was held with the support of the Government of St. Petersburg. Olga A. Kazanskaya, the Vice Governor of Social Issues and Health Care, opened the event with a word of salutation.
During the seminar representatives of competent public authorities and governmental organizations, heads of commercial medical centres, experts of consulting companies discussed the main tasks, forms and models of interaction of the state and private companies in health care. Participants also viewed the examples of projects scheduled for implementation with the PPP mechanisms application in St. Petersburg and the opportunities of using the international experience in this sphere.
In his speech the Managing Partner of Kachkin & Partners Denis Kachkin touched upon the key ways of commercializing medical and prophylactic institutions: outsourcing, rent, trust management, concession (PPP) and privatization.
