Denis Kachkin took part in a videoconference “Implementation of investment projects in social sphere on the basis of PPP”
For the first time in the North-West Federal District a cross-regional seminar «Implementation of projects in the social sphere on the PPP basis» was held as a videoconference between the cities of St. Petersburg, Syktyvkar and Khabarovsk. The event was organized by the Komi Representation Office in the Northwestern Region of the Russian Federation.
At the meeting St. Petersburg specialists shared their experience with colleagues from the Komi Republic and Primorye Territory and discussed the PPP realization schemes and the rights and duties of the parties participating in this partnership.
St. Petersburg PPP projects in the field of construction, reconstruction and operation of medical and perinatal centres, hospitals, educational institutions and other objects of social infrastructure were also presented at the seminar.
Among the videoconference participants there were the representatives of state authorities, business structures and public organizations of the Komi Republic, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region interested in public-private partnership.
Denis Kachkin, the Managing Partner at Kachkin & Partners, talked on the opportunities of PPP mechanism application during the social projects implementation: he gave the examples of PPP models from Russian and foreign practice, drew attention to the most important moments that should be considered at the project preparation stage.
