Denis Kachkin took part in the session on PPP development in health care, tourism and transport infrastructure of the Samara region

The ministry of health care of the Samara region in assistance with the ministry of economic development, investments and trade of the Samara region organized the session devoted to development of private-public partnership in health care, tourism and transport infrastructure of the Samara region. Denis Kachkin, the Managing Partner at Kachkin & Partners, performed as the guest expert there.

The event’s agenda consisted of a theoretical part devoted to the issues of implementation of PPP projects in health care, tourism and transport infrastructure and a practical block involving the discussion of PPP projects in health care and problematic issues arising during their structuring.

In his speech Denis Kachkin touched upon the following key aspects:

• application of concession mechanisms in implementation of projects in health care, tourism and transport infrastructure;

• Russian regions’ experience in implementation of projects in health care, tourism and transport infrastructure;

• ways of investment support and return on investments for private partners in PPP projects;

• optimal mechanisms of PPP projects financing and issues of risks distribution.

Representatives of the ministry of health care of the Samara region in assistance with the ministry of economic development, investments and trade of the Samara region, the ministry of finance of the Samara region, the ministry of transport and roads of the Samara region, and all the persons and organizations interested in implementation of PPP projects at the territory of the region attended the event.
