The largest public transport project in Russia to be implemented with Kachkin & Partners support
«Kupchino metro station — pos. Shushary-Slavyanka” St. Petersburg tram network creation and operation project concession agreement is signed. Kachkin & Partners, Attorneys at Law have provided comprehensive legal support for the consortium on the side of the concessionary, consisting of Gazprombank and the ABZ-1 construction group (BaltNedvizhService, LLC).
The planned length of the tram tracks is 21 km. At the expense of his own and attracted funds the investor agrees to build a depot, purchase 22 low-floor trams, provide equipment repair, network maintenance, as well as passenger transportation on the new urban transport route. The concession agreement is concluded for 30 years. This is the largest concession project in the field of urban passenger transport. The total amount of the concession provider’s fee for the project was determined by the results of the competition and amounted to 58 billion rubles.
Kachkin & Partners, Attorneys at Law have provided full legal support to the concessionary in the course of tendering, protecting competition results at the FAS Russia, representing interests in negotiations with the concession provider, as well as in connection with the commercial project closure.
